A lot of us want tools to move ourselves out of a negative vibration or prolong a positive vibration. In the book Ask and it is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks, they have mulitple strategies to do this depending on what type of mood you are in… obviously you can’t jump from depression to love and empowerment in one leap…there are steps and this is what they teach.
I wanted to share it with all of you because it has helped me GREATLY and hopefully you will find it useful as well. So without rewriting the book I will attempt to do a condensed version and provide you some samplings you can use.
“Rampage of Appreciation”
Use when you want to parlay a good mood into a great mood.
Use when you are driving, walking , standing in line, etc…
How to Play: Look around your immediate environment and gently notice something that pleases you. Focus on it and why you appreciate it, notice your appreciation and positivity growing. Then appreciate the fact that you are feeling this positivity. Choose another pleasing object for your positive attention. The more you maintain these feel good frequencies, the more the Law of Attraction will deliver to you other thoughts, experiences, people and things to match your practiced vibration.
Example: As you are driving to work, you may think:
“I love my car. This new freeway is wonderful. Even though it is raining, I’m making very good time. I love how reliable my car is. I’m grateful for my job.”
“The Book of Positive Aspects”
Use when you are aware that a subject that requires your attention does not feel good, and you want to improve your vibration on that topic.
How to Play: Purchase a notebook that pleases you and title it My Book of Positive Aspects. At the top of the first page write the name or description of someone or something you always feel good about. Ask yourself, “What do I like about you?” Why do I love you so much?” “What are your positive aspects?” Gently and easily begin writing down the thoughts that come to you in response to these questions. Turn the page and repeat this for another subject you feel good about.
Do this for about 20 minutes. Give attention to what feels good and more things that feel good will come to you.
“Wouldn’t It be Nice If…”
Use when you find yourself leaning towards the negative and offering resistance
How to Play: When you say “I want this thing to happen that hasn’t happened yet” you are not only activating the vibration of your desire but you are also activating the vibration of the absence of your desire— so nothing changes for you. But when you say “Wouldn’t it be nice if this desire would come to me?” you achieve a different sort of expectation that is much less resistant in nature. This process will help you let in the things that you have been asking for, on all subjects.
Examples: Wouldn’t it be nice if the traffic is light and we have a wonderful trip?
Wouldn’t it be nice if I find someone, and we waltz off into the sunset together?
Wouldn’t it be nice if the desires that I’ve been holding for a long time sort of came to a peak, like a guiding light?”
By softly playing this game, what happens is that you hold yourself in this place of alignment.
Hope you all enjoy these samplings as much as I do. There are a TON more strategies and games in this book.
