I think the first time I used the law I was five years old. I did not know what I was doing but I had immediate results.
Early, my mother taught me the alphabet in a playful manner. I clearly remember holding in my hand a piece of cardboard which I had written my name on it at four. So on this beautiful morning of September, I was five and ready for first grade. My mother didn’t feel so great and told me to go by myself (I have the feeling she was trying to discourage me). So I went to the school, entered through the front door and from there I could see a waiting room were kids and parents were waiting for their turn. So I went there, sit on an available chair and patiently waited for my turn, holding my pre-school scorecard in my small hands. The principal came in the room many times calling people by their names, you know, just like at the doctor’s office.
After quite a while, everyone was gone and I was the only one in the waiting room. The principal came in and could not avoid seeing me this time. He approached and asked me: “Where is your mother little man?”. I said she stayed home because she wasn’t feeling very good. He then asked “Why did you come here all by yourself then?”. I replied: I came to register for first grade. He went on: “Is that your pre-school scorecard you are holding?”. I said yes and gave it to him.
He quickly looked at it and said he was sorry but that I was too young to start school this year. “You have to be six years old before the school year starts.” My birthday is in January. He told me to go home and to come back next year.
I wasn’t devastated but a bit annoyed and thought that I was ready even if everyone was not thinking so. I proceeded to go home but turned right out the front door instead of using the shortest path home which was to go left. I proceeded through the empty schoolyard to the gate at the back of the school. When I almost got to the gate I saw an open door to the school and a stairway inside. Without a second thought, I entered and climb the stairs to the second floor. I was wandering in the corridor when a lady came to me and said, a little excited, “What are you doing here?” and without giving me enough time to answer she continued “What grade are you in?”. I promptly replied this time “First grade, madam”. She took me by the hand, open a nearby classroom door, said to the teacher: “I think you are missing that one.”, and told me to go give my score card to the teacher before taking a seat.
It took them about a month to react but they decided to let it go because of my astounding results. I already knew well the alphabet and even how to spell and write a few words.
That is how I started school one year earlier than I should and today I think I used the LAW at that time by instinct. Aren’t kids born risk takers and achievers?

I just had to take a moment to praise you for sharing this “Law Of Attraction” experience with us. As a average person I’ve really enjoyed the great ideas and information obtained from watching The Secret movie. I hope you will continue to share your experiences with us here as I will be coming back often!
